Comfy Stay with Great Breakfast!
Had a really comfy night in a well-done room with a clean ensuite. Loved the tea and fresh milk! We just wanted a small bite for dinner, and the small plates were perfect. The granola bowl in the morning was a standout. Only thing was the bar area felt a bit cramped during busy hours.

Charming atmosphere throughout, with rustic decor that fits perfectly with the countryside vibe. The bar boasts a wide selection of local ales and the outdoor seating area offers a picturesque view of the surrounding landscape.
Our standard king room faced a very loud generator that ran consistently. Despite the comfortable bed, the heat from the generator raised the temperature inside the room uncomfortably. The breakfast service did not seem organized. There was either too quick a pace between courses or delays of up to 45 minutes, which could frustrate those expecting a leisurely start to their day.

great base for exploring penshurst's gardens and castles
the only downside was a missed dining opportunity when the kitchen closed early but that didn’t overshadow the idyllic parks and landmarks I got to enjoy throughout my stay.

Charming, cozy rooms with delightful touches
I had a lovely stay in the Standard King Room, which was not only beautifully decorated but also felt incredibly comfortable. The freshly baked biscuits with tea were a delightful welcome, and the overall ambiance was very inviting. I did find the service a bit slow at times, especially during breakfast, but the staff were friendly and accommodating.
